2. Data collected

When you use betbot, we collect the following categories of data:

• Account data: email address and password (the password is stored in hashed form, never in plain text).
• Bet-tracking data entered by the user: information you voluntarily enter in your tracker (declared stakes, results, personal notes). This data is entered manually by you and is used solely for your personal tracking.
• Browsing data and cookies: technical data (IP address, device type, pages visited) and audience-measurement cookies as well as, where applicable, advertising cookies.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing and managing the service (account creation, subscription, access to analyses, personal tracking) — legal basis: performance of the contract.
• Audience measurement (traffic statistics, service improvement) — legal basis: consent for non-essential cookies, or legitimate interest for strictly necessary measurement.
• Advertising (serving and personalizing ads, if enabled) — legal basis: consent.
• Security and legal obligations (fraud prevention, accounting obligations) — legal basis: legitimate interest and legal obligation.

Non-essential cookies (audience measurement and advertising) are only set after you have given your consent, collected via the "Gérer les cookies" ("Manage cookies") banner.

4. Retention periods

• Account data: kept for as long as the account is active, then deleted within 3 years of the last contact, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
• Bet-tracking data: kept for as long as the account is active, then deleted when the account is closed.
• Billing data: kept for as long as required by legal and accounting obligations (generally 10 years).
• Cookies: maximum lifetime of 13 months from the time they are set.

5. Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by our technical service providers, acting as processors:

• Supabase — authentication and storage of account and tracking data.
• Render — hosting of the service.
• Advertising networks (Google, Meta), if enabled — audience measurement and ad serving, subject to your consent.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers may process data outside the European Union. Where this is the case, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, in order to ensure an adequate level of protection for your data.

7. Cookies

betbot uses cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the service and, subject to your consent, audience-measurement and advertising cookies. You may configure or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Gérer les cookies" ("Manage cookies") banner available on the site.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:

• Right of access
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to data portability
• Right to object
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to withdraw your consent at any time, for processing based on consent
